To make our souls grow. Sacred Flow in San Francisco

I love you California by 3 fish studios.

For the traveler by John O’Donohue

..A journey can become a sacred thing:
Make sure, before you go,
To take the time
To bless your going forth,
To free your heart of ballast
So that the compass of your soul
Might direct you toward
The territories of spirit
Where you will discover
More of your hidden life,
And the urgencies
That deserve to claim you.
May you travel in an awakened way,
Gathered wisely into your inner ground;
That you may not waste the invitations
Which wait along the way to transform you.
May you travel safely, arrive refreshed,
And live your time away to its fullest;
Return home more enriched, and free
To balance the gift of days which call you.
~ John O’Donohue

Dear ones, I have missed connecting with you in this space. If you have been wondering what happened to my sacred flow writings, I have been going through a cosmic reboot of sorts. I am entering another layer of exploration, experimentation, and play. I moved! I felt the pull to experience the next layer of growth and expansion for myself and my body of work in a place that makes me come alive. My journey continues now in San Francisco!  If I could use one word to describe my experience so far, it would have to be: magical.

Here are some words that might help if you are contemplating your next leap:

“I have accepted fear as part of life—specifically the fear of change…I have gone ahead despite the pounding in the heart that says: turn back…”
Erica Jong via Lisa Congdon

It can be tempting to fear change, the unknown, whatever we can’t control. We forget that not all those who wonder are lost, especially not if we let our hearts lead the way, propelled by a courageous force stronger than fear–love. I have been working on meeting the unknown with open arms, surrendering to the powers that animate the world and surge through all of creation, meeting glimpses of mystery with a trusting heart, curious mind, and wandering spirit.

In my efforts to be of service to more beings and in response to my calling to work with children this year, I have become a volunteer devoted to empowering kids and creating a safe, creative space for them to grow, expand, and realize their potential. I will be sharing this letter with them:

To experience becoming, to find out what’s inside you, to make your soul grow
 by Kurt Vonnegut

Kurt Vonnegut

“What I had to say to you, moreover, would not take long, to wit: Practice any art, music, singing, dancing, acting, drawing, painting, sculpting, poetry, fiction, essays, reportage, no matter how well or badly, not to get money and fame, but to experience becoming, to find out what’s inside you, to make your soul grow.” ~Kurt Vonnegut

I’m excited to announce that I will continue to offer Sacred Flow writings, sessions, mandalas and circle classes to clients, now in San Francisco! Here is to accepting the invitations to explore and discover multiple universes inside each one of us, pulsing to emerge manifest in the tapestry and web of life, for the benefit of all. Thanks for letting me come into the most sacred of spaces, your hearts.

With gratitude,

Magical Moonlight

Ecstatic to share Moon’s fullness tonight & surprised to see what was revealed as I bathed in her moonlight (photo taken around 8:30 pm: no flash, no photoshop, just an open heart in love with La Luna). “Ten thousand poets have viewed ten thousand moons, this moon, just one.” – Soji (Gary Barnes)

Infused with Spirit, this kind Earth

So happy to have Infused with Spirit, this kind Earth be my first post in my Unleashing Flow Series! ..I once had a vision, the kind that melts your mind and opens the gates of your heart, wide..And it occurred to me that up until that moment I hadn’t realized something so primal, so imprinted in the memory of my cells. My feet long to walk on the body of the sacred earth and bless her as she breathes in and out, rapt in the beauty of our awakening.
