Sacred Flow in the big apple. What you make space for matters..
By: Marjory Mejia
Love makes your soul crawl out from its hiding place. ~Zora Neale Hurston
As some of you may know I am in the big apple, enjoying a creative breath, pause, space. Letting my art rest, breathe, absorb. Even in moments of stillness, life flows incessantly. In the midst of silences, negative spaces and all those lines in between, life brims and overflows.
Here is my beloved Chrysler. A gem reaching the sky. The architect in me loves to look up at the buildings beautifully dancing their way into the skies like golden spires.
But there is plenty that draws my gaze back to the sacred earth..
For the traveler by John O’Donohue
..A journey can become a sacred thing:
Make sure, before you go,
To take the time
To bless your going forth,
To free your heart of ballast
So that the compass of your soul
Might direct you toward
The territories of spirit
Where you will discover
More of your hidden life,
And the urgencies
That deserve to claim you.
May you travel in an awakened way,
Gathered wisely into your inner ground;
That you may not waste the invitations
Which wait along the way to transform you.
May you travel safely, arrive refreshed,
And live your time away to its fullest;
Return home more enriched, and free
To balance the gift of days which call you.
~ John O’Donohue
So much heart this time around in NYC. Meeting lovely people and making space for joy and magic. So simple and yet so powerful. What are you making space for? Love to each one of you from this apple bursting with flavors. From my heart to yours,
